Drill Bit MultiMat® Asymmetrical Ø4 mm

  • MultiMat® Asymmetrical is a universal drill bit with a specially developed asymmetric cutting geometry that provides better control when starting the hole, stable guidance and controlled drilling.
  • One cutting edge cuts along the inner radius, while the other cutting edge engages the outer radius, which determines the diameter of the hole. Together, they achieve fast cutting across the entire diameter, while neither of the two cutting edges is a mirror image of the other.
  • The practical advantage of RAIDER MultiMat asymmetric drill bits is that each cutting edge operates in a different load zone, at a different peripheral speed and with a different cutting radius. This reduces the peak load on each cutting surface.
  • Suitable for a wide range of materials – stainless steel sheet, steel sheet, non-ferrous metals, cast iron, aluminium, concrete, porcelain stoneware, granite, marble, stone, ceramics, glass, porcelain, terracotta, bricks, roof tiles, aerated concrete, wood and PVC.

  • MultiMat® Asymmetrical is a range of universal drill bits with an asymmetrically designed cutting geometry, developed for more stable, controlled and precise drilling in a wide range of materials. Unlike the standard symmetrical design, in which the cutting elements are positioned symmetrically around the axis of the drill bit, the asymmetrical geometry of MultiMat® Asymmetrical is specially designed so that the cutting action and drilling load are distributed in a specific way between the different sections of the cutting head.


  • This design offers an important advantage from the very beginning of the drilling process. The asymmetrically shaped tip helps provide more controlled positioning of the drill bit, allowing the hole to be started with greater confidence. This is particularly useful when working on smooth, hard or slippery surfaces, where a standard drill bit may tend to slip or "search" for position.


  • Universal application


    • One of the main advantages of MultiMat® Asymmetrical is the wide range of materials it can be used with. The drill bits are suitable for:

    metals: stainless steel sheet, steel sheet, cast iron, aluminium and non-ferrous metals;
    construction materials: concrete, aerated concrete and bricks;
    cladding materials: porcelain stoneware, granite, marble, stone, ceramics, porcelain and terracotta;
    smooth and brittle materials: glass;
    other materials: roof tiles, wood and PVC.
